KATY SAYS: “California Dreamin” plays so often in this movie that when Eric first watched it, from the other room I thought he was rewinding it and watching the same part over and over again. I thought that seemed like a lot but watching it myself, everything about the movie fit together exactly right.

ERIC SAYS:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie that has felt more alive. “California Dreamin'” has gone from a banger of a song to an anthem of unrequited love. If I had a chance to engrave Katy’s wedding ring, it would have been the final line of the movie. Sorry, you’ll have to watch it to find out what that is.
