ERIC SAYS: Phenomenally structured, beautifully shot (I saw it in 70mm back in the day at the Granville 7), and perfectly performed, Die Hard is probably the best action movie of the 1980s, and spawned its own subgenre of “Die Hard on a [BLANK]” knockoffs. Welcome to the party, indeed.
